Simulated Driven Pheasant Shooting

IMG_4431

To prepare our clients for their mixed partridge and pheasant shooting days the team at Apsley Sporting gave them several flushes of quite high fast flying clays.

Very pleased to report that under some pressure and subject to some intense ribbing from our clients and the lads on the throwers, I was able to successfully demonstrate how to take high birds passing on the left and right.

And folks that is what simulated game shooting is all about. While providing a great medium to sharpen up your shooting skills prior to taking on live quarry, it is also a more relaxed environment where competition is encouraged and a sense of humour compulsory.
