Partridge Shooting Day Preparation

“Time spent in reconnaissance is seldom wasted”, is a famous military quote that has been attributed to the talented and possibly the most successful German Field Marshal of World War Two, Erwin Rommel.

And so today we were out conducting a “recce” for our next shoot on Saturday.

At the request of the client the day is being covered by noted country pursuits photographer Allan Ward of Country Field Images. Allan is seen here getting a briefing from long-time resident Gamekeeper, James Bruno.

Allan regularly has his photographic work and articles featured in The Field, Shooting Times, Shooting Gazette and several other major UK shooting magazines.

To book partridge and pheasant shooting for the 2016 season and also Allan’s services, contact British Country Sports at:
