The Ivory Hunter

The amazing handcrafted rifle The Ivory Hunter from Austrian craftsman Johann Fanjoz, renowned gunmakers since 1790.

The Ivory Hunter is a tribute to the legendary African hunters, who in pursuit of discovery and adventure, shaped the myth surrounding the biggest mammal on earth – the Elephant.

The Ivory Hunter is based on the Carabine rifle of the legendary African hunting calibre .416 Rigby.

An amazing response at the opening of Safari Tech Exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last night.

Lots of local interest in the exhibition and especially of British Country Sport’s attendance. We met lots of great people – Saudis have a wonderful sense of humour.

Our new local staff members Omar and Mohammad have been fabulous in helping set up and speaking with visitors to the stand last.

Day 2 commences at 4pm today. Looking forward to meeting a lot more of our Saudi FB friends there today and tomorrow.

My wife and I had the pleasure of recently being given a behind the scenes tour of The Ritz, one of London’s premier 5 Star Hotels.

What an amazing experience to be able to view such a special piece of British history and fine culture.

No wonder it is a favourite for the rich and famous when they come to good old London town and an establishment the British Country Sports can accommodate clients if they so desire. It comes with an excellent gun room and storage for other sporting equipments our clients may bring with them.

The Ritz and its services.

Day 2 of 5 days of exhibiting completed. The crowds have been constant and the interest shown by our friends from the Gulf in British country sports encouraging.

Big thrill today was having Alice Mills one of the world’s leading lady jockeys drop by the stand. Alice is a wonderful ambassador for women in sport and with her hectic globetrotting schedule for racing and other equestrian interests is a very interesting person to chat with.
