Grouse Season 2016

With a lot of attention being focused on the recently defeated  grouse shooting ban the UK’S 2016 grouse shooting season has ticked along without much sporting press attention.

While bird numbers may have been down in some areas, most estates, big and small, are reporting  that the season has gone reasonably well. The weather has not been too unkind and syndicates have been able to meet their bag limits without too much concern.

With the doubts about BREXIT possibly triggering another separation attempt by the Scottish parliament and the potential knock on effect of land ownership and use in Scotland, maybe it is advisable to book some additional grouse shooting in this year before the season finishes on 10 December.
